The problem with print preview is that libgnomeprintui needs a
GnomeCanvas object and not a postscript file.  I'm currently looking
into using mozilla's print preview.

Hmm.  I can't reproduce this at all.  Will look into this.  Does it
cause any problems?  Does changing the font used make this go away?

This is caused by libgnomeprint polling the CUPS server when there is no
printer attached.  You should see this when printing from anything that
uses libgnomeprint.
