The ChangeLog itself it usually pretty up to date. You
can check them out via bonsai for instance
(http://cvs.gnome.org/bonsai/cvsblame.cgi?file=gIDE/ChangeLog&rev=&root=/cvs/gnome
for gIDE). Or use the log command from cvs itself.
