Hi everybody,
I realized that in glom's build process, I get these files:
/usr/share/mime/{subclasses,globs,magic,XMLnamespaces}
If they get installed by the user (normally they would go to /usr/local)
into /usr/share/mime his/her mime settings get overwritten.
At the moment, I take care of this by simply running
rm -f debian/glom/usr/share/mime/{subclasses,globs,magic,XMLnamespaces}
in the pre-.deb generation of the Ubuntu package, which makes it
harmless for the users of the package. Does anybody know why they are
generated in the first place?
Just a question. :)
Have a nice day,
Daniel
