Problem Initializing the device in gdm

    Hi Everybody,

        I have gone through gnome display manager gdm.
        I did found it appropriate to develop facility
        of biometric login.

        But when I am initializing the device in
        the code of gdm ( In the greeter), the
        device is not initialized.
        Actually its a biometric mouse.

        Can anybody please suggest me the solution ??
        Actually why device is not initializing there
