Re: official support for more scripting languages in gnome needed

Jesus Fucking Christ!  I thought this thing was over.  This discussion 
started because somebody wanted to make Gnome dependant on Perl, Python, 
Lisp and Guile.  I responded, "If you do that, then you will lose me as 
a user."

I have legitimate reasons for not wanting to be forced into running 
scripting languages.  You can argue until you're blue in the face, but 
that won't change the fact that I have examined all options for my 
projects and determined what is most appropriate to use.  You may choose 
something else.  Fine.  But don't try to force your choice on me.

I don't care what you code in, I don't care what Vlad codes in.  But 
don't try to make *me* code in it!  I never once said that any language 
is better than another.  I said that scripting languages were not 
appropriate for my projects and if Gnome depended on them, then I would 
be forced to go elsewhere.

Now can we just let the fucking thing rest already?  (and no, I don't 
want to discuss what my projects are and what languages would work 
better than others)
