well this one is going to support multiple views (it has list and icons
currently), and i plan on adding a couple more after 1.0.

but there is no need to create an additional plugin api (which wouldn't
happen, anyway) since this is all implemented in bonobo - one could
write a new implementation of the file-sel's api and applications would
be able to use it w/o change.
