GnomeCanvasGroup

Hi,
I try to use gnome_canvas_get_item_at.
It works fine for gnome_canvas_item, except for GnomeCanvasGroup.
Is this normal ? How can I overcome this inconvenience ?
The same thing appear when usign a GnomeCanvasImage with a transparent
background.
What should I do to allow getting item ?
