The problem lies in the thumbnail feature of deskguide_applet,
although I haven't narrowed it beyond there. When deskguide_applet is
running, then Gnome applications crash left and right. Furthermore,
shared memory segments are left lying around without the deletion bit
set.
Any ideas about this?
