mouse and keyboard questions

i'm writing a gtk application, and i have two questions:

1. how can i move the mouse from inside my application (e.g. tell the
mouse to go to a specific point in my window )?

2. how can i grab the keyboard events and handle them without letting
the window manager see them ?
