mc-CVS on Tru64 (resend)

I sent this message previously, but haven't received any response,
probably due to the mailing list wierdness in the past week. Here it
is again.

Hello,

Here are the patches necessary to compile mc-CVS on Tru64 V5.0. There
are two patches here. Could somebody apply these to mc in CVS for me?

(1) mc-20000229-autoconf.patch patches the files:

	config.guess
	config.sub

to bring them in line with the versions from libtool-1.3.4.
Without the update, these programs fail miserably on Tru64 V5.0.

(2) mc-20000229-tru64.patch patches the files:

	mc-aclocal.m4
	gnome/gcmd.c
	gnome/gdialogs.c
	src/cmd.c
	src/screen.c
	intl/Makefile.in

These patches are required for compilation.

In addition, I need to mention that it is necessary to run
./autogen.sh as follows:

    CPPFLAGS=-I/usr/local/include LDFLAGS=-L/usr/local/lib \
	./autogen.sh

I personally think this is silliness, since ./configure should check
the supplied (or default) --prefix in addition to the system include
and library directories. Are there differing opinions on this?

Thanks,
Aron
