can not find dbopen module for gnome-libs-1.2.3 compile

Hi

I am trying to compile gnome-libs-1.2.3 but config want a dbopen() module from 
the db library which I do not have.

it does not appear on the GNOME web page, can anyone point me to the library 
source?
