db-3.1.17 and gnome-libs

Hi Gnomers!

I got a little problem with gnome-libs .. I can not get it to find my db-3.1.17 it just says:

checking for dbopen... no
checking for dbopen in -ldb... no
checking for dbopen in -ldb1... no
configure: error: Your db library is missing db 1.85 compatibility mode

I have configured --enable-compat185
