Changing a package's maintainer on the buglist

We Balsa developers have been trying to change the
maintainer of Balsa in the gnome bug list, so that
reports are forwarded to the current developers, not
Stuart Parmenter. I found the file debbugs/Maintainers
and updated it, but after about 20 hours I still see
no change on bugs.gnome.org. Anyone know what's up
with this?
