gnome-libs-1.0.53 compile probl. (gnome-name-server.c)

Hi,


Attached is an output of error-messages from trying to compile
gnome-libs-1.0.53 on my SuSE 6.2 system. As you can see it's
apparently related to an undefined reference in
gnome-name-server.c. Here is what I have done:

1) compiled and installed these packages in the order as
listed. They all compiled without a problem :

audiofile-0.1.9
esound-0.2.15
glib-1.2.6
libxml-1.7.3
gtk+-1.2.6
ORBit-0.5.0
imlib-1.9.7
db.1.86
gtk-engines-0.8


2) These are installed from the SuSE 6.2 CDs

2) I have looked in the bug-tracking system and on the mailing
list archive for the past months and on deja.com but I did not
find any solution to this problem.


Therefore I hope that someone can help me.
