Maybe, but the port to GTK+ needs to be finished.
I've got it running, but there are a number of minor problems to fix.

In the long term Mozilla is probably better since it supports lots more
stuff like stylesheets, DOM, DHTML, XML etc. So I'm not sure how much
effort to put into gtk-xmhtml.
