RE: Gnome-core

I found a similar bug int the gnome-pager applet...
when you click on the task list button, the task list appears on top on the
panel,
well.. if after you click on the task list button, you click again very fast
anywhere on the screen,
the task list will *try to follow your mouse* I mean, instead of appearing
exactly on top of the panel,
it will appear somewhat close to where you clicked on the screen.
It happened to me using enlightenment, but I don't think the WM has
something to do.
the bug is not so easy to reproduce, sometimes I click very fast, many times
and it just doens't happen, other times, I don't click so fast, and it does
happen... (still, it needs to be fast enough, so that you click before the
task list appears)
you don't need to have a very sllow machine to o that, I didi it on a Dell
Workstation, P3 450 Mhz 128Mb, which is quite fast.
Maybe the bug you are talking about isn't in the panel code, but in the
library it uses...
I guess we should have a look on the common lib calls that the pager and the
panel are using to *appear*

Regards...
Olivier.
