I get these with guname, but I don't get the resizing problem you had.
I'm running the 1.0.50pre RPMs from ftp.gurulabs.com and gtk1.2.5.

I noticed the same warning in an app of mine - I had a CList where I
had set the columns to be autosized and was adding data to the CList
after I'd called gtk_widget_show_all();

Moving the show_all() call to after the data was added removed the
warnings (and stopped the dialog from re-sizing after it appeared -
that's probably another bug).
