HTML is not a layout language. Converting from RTF to HTML 
will result in information loss.

Misusing HTML like this only helps spreading the idea that 
HTML is a way to exchange visual formatting in a 'platform 
independant way'.

Of course hacks can always be done to deal with unknown formats, 
but it should never be the default.

For example. DocBook should be read like DocBook and not as 
something dumbed down like HTML.
