Why change the GPL to add a "y2k documenation bug".  At www.gnu.org, the
GPL there says "yyyy".  Just curious.

My guess is that this patch is what nuked the extace directory
(accidentally).

	* configure.in: Fixed chicken-and-egg problem with the AM_ESD_PATH
	macro.  That macro is now in acinclude.m4.  Also set up vu-meter and
	extace to compile only if ESD is found.
