I'm very close to having a stock rh6.0 installation, and
a CVS installation of much of gnome installed side by side.
For all the packages I downloaded, I just do a 
	./autogen.sh --prefix=/opt/gnome

The only real trick to this is installing *all* the 
development tools (autoconf, automake, libtool, etc.) 
under /opt/gnome, so the 

The only thing I haven't done yet is redirect my .xsession
to point to /opt/gnome/bin/gnome-session.  I'm still waiting 
for a clean compile through a few modules before I "go live".

Should I whip up a "CVS and RPM Gnome - Side by Side"
guide for the truly adventurous?
