A lot of work has gone into the SQLite provider lately and It works
quite nicely for me.

As the problem does not come from the config file, I suggest that you
take into account a more recent version of those libraries (1.3.4 or
CVS for example). In the new versions, the SQLite provider is embedded
with libgda (version 3.2.1 or 3.2.2).
