[gnome-db] windows and gnome-db

Hello all,

I plan to use gnome DB to build my Linux app.
I then need my application to run under windows.
Has anyone gotten gnome-db to work under windows?
How? Cause if not then I'm going to use the MySQL API
directly, and sacrifice database independence, unfortunately.
