[gnome-db] GdaValue question

Hello,

When types are stringified, some types are such that they need quotes
in queries,
and some are such that they don't (for instance strings vs. integers).
Hence I wonder,
is there a gda_quote_stringify which while stringifying also applies
quotation marks
where necessary. Almost anyone using gdalib would need such a method anyways
so why not refactor everyone's code into the gdalib library itself by
providing this
simple feature as a utility function. Is it already there somewhere? I
can guarantee
almost everyone would use such feature if provided by libgda.
