Mergeant 0.12.1 is the latest version of mergeant not using the new
libmergeant library, and is no longer maintained.

I've been working on libmergeant a lot and the re-writing of mergeant with
that library has just only started.

You can now download the CVS (HEAD branch) mergeant module which includes
both the libmergeant library and the rewrite of mergeant, now located in
the frontend/ directory. To compile it you need recent Libgda, Libgnomedb
and general Gnome libraries (2.4 is OK).

Mergeant at the moment does not yet do what gasql used to do, but the
plans are to have many more features than gasql and mergeant 0.12.1 had.

On the short TODO list are:
-> tables contents edition
-> query wizard creation
-> query execution
