We need a temporary and long term solution for inserting data to a mysql
table
from a filemaker table, something like this:
INSERT INTO mysqltable (first, last, id) SELECT First_Name, Last_Name,
Customer_ID from filemakertable . I have been looking everywhere for a
solution
and thought you may have some input. Without using the unixodbc odbc
$bridge, will this
work. All of the sql gui clients I have found so far wont let me insert
from a
table that is not in the same database. Will "unixodbc DataManager" let us
execute sql
like this example? We have OSX Darwin at our disposal with mysql, apache,
php,
odbc, filemaker server, filemaker unlimited and odbc drivers for all
three. Will mergeant/gnomedb allow us to use odbc data sources?
