[gnome-db] newbie question

Hi, gnome-db professionals.
I just made gnome, gnome-db and mysql available on my desktop.
I'm able to use mysql from mysql-client text interface.
Is it possible to use gnome-db for similar purposes.

I looked for something "getting started" or "howto" but haven't found.
Have I do put anything into /etc/libgda/conf?
Where can I learn how to make a database known to gnome-db?
