yes, that's why I think adding it to the file format is the best thing.
Also, if you use a database and use complex SQL commands, and then don't
use it for months, when you re-open it, you wouldn't have any way of
getting those complex commands if they were stored in GConf, since in
those months, the history will have grown a lot and lose old commands
(there is a limit in the number of commands kept in the history).
And of course, getting SQL commands from other connections does not seem
a good idea.
