you've got the GNOME 2 version, from what I can see. So, if you want to
compile the stable version, just run the following command in your
libgda sources top directory:
cvs -z3 update -r gnome-1-x-branch -dP
this will download the gnome-1-x-branch from CVS, which is where the
stable version is. CVS HEAD (what you've got) is for GNOME 2.
