and are there not newer versions of glade there? If the latest version
of gnome-db in Mandrake packages is 0.2.10, I suppose there should be
Glade versions that work with that one.

So, the solution IMO:
* get the Mandrake RPMs for gnome-db-0.2.90 (latest version, with lots
of changes) from ftp://ftp.gnome-db.org, and install them with "rpm
--force", so that RPM lets you install them
* rebuild Glade from the SRPMS, which I supposed are also provided in
the same site you got the RPMs from. There are no incompatible changes
(as far as I can remember) in 0.2.90, so this should work.

If building Glade SRPMs does not work, I guess the best thing would be
to get glade from CVS, which works perfectly well with gnome-db-0.2.90,
and build the RPMs from that.

cheers
