by pure coincidence, I'm right now removing all usage of the old BonoboUIHandler
stuff, and replacing it with the XML files that can then be translated.

In CVS there's already the front-end converted to XML, and maybe tonight
I'll check in the changes for all the components and finally remove the
bonobo-ui-compat.[ch] files from our source tree.

So, problem resolved :-) All ui XML files will go to gnome-db/ui/
