Yes, gasql and gnomedb-fe also don't work. 
With gasql I get the following messages, when I try to connect to a DB:

gmd lise:~ > gasql

gda-connection.c: 68: gda_connection_real_error called
gasql: error while loading shared libraries: gasql: undefined symbol:
gnome_db_errordlg_new

And with gnomedb-fe when trying to connect to a DB, I get a small empty
Dialog window
and the appication hangs. It can only be stopped with 
kill -QUIT nnnn
