yes, I saw it the other day. They seem to be concentrating more on a MS
Access-like app, with lots of visual tools. Our DB architecture seems
better (IMO, of course). But, yes, we have to work on the UI.

BTW, I've just checked in some changes that really improve the UI. It's
still missing the wizard for configuring data sources, but I'm getting
on it. What I've changed:

* added e-*paned sources to gnome-db, so that we can remove the GAL
dependency (fixes bug #53266 -
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53266)
* improved the GnomeDbBrowser widget, which is now far better than the
old one. Still missing some things, but it looks much better
* reworked GnomeDbLogin widget. Now, it's easier to use, it does not use
any GdaConnection nor GdaConnectionPool, so that you can use it to just
have the user select a data source, and username and password. Thus, it
can also be used not only for loging in, but to have the user, for
example, selecting a database. Also the code to use it is now readable
:-)

so please, get it from CVS and test it :-)
