yes, did you apply the glibc patches to the oracle distribution? It's
needed for systems using 2.2.x kernels. You can find it at
technet.oracle.com. I've got them at home, so if tomorrow you haven't
found them, tell me and I'll send them to you. Although...my patches are
for 8.0.5, not 8.0.3 as you're using.
