Well the ODBC config will need to reference libodbc.so and libodbcinst.so
but they don't need to access any actual database server, it just updates
some local files, If I understand what you are saying then the config would
be triggered by a call to the (in this case) gda-odbc-srv ?

Or am I missing the point ?
