Hi,
I wanted to look at the latest gda-buildserver script and try to make some
of the fixes that I promised so long ago. Unfortunately, I could not get
gnome-db to build, and I think it is because gnome-db/iodbc is empty.
Here is how I checked it out:
export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@anoncvs.gnome.org:/cvs/gnome
cvs login
cvs -z3 checkout gnome-db
Here is how I cam calling autogen.sh:
./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql
And here are the errors I get:
Making all in gda-odbc-server
make[2]: Entering directory
`/usr/src/bjepson/gnome/gnome-db/gda-odbc-server'
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `../iodbc/libiodbc.la', needed by
`gda-odbc-srv'. Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory
`/usr/src/bjepson/gnome/gnome-db/gda-odbc-server'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/bjepson/gnome/gnome-db'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
I couldn't find a configure option to disable odbc:
bash$ ./autogen.sh --help | grep odbc
bash$
