gnomeprint.so.1 ??? why doesn't so.2 work???

I'm using redhat 6.x and I'm unable to install the rpm package for
gnome-db as it is requireing gnomeprint.so.1. I have gnomeprint.so.2
installed on the system and cannot find so.1 for redhat.
If anyone can help, thanks...
