thank you for trying gnome-db :)

please edit your configure.in. there are ORACLE_LIBS set to lots of
-lxxxx
things. for ora 8.1.5 you only need

ORACLE_LIBS="-L${ORACLE_HOME}/lib -lclntsh "

hope that work. have fun and let me know, if there are some bugs.
