Which package did you install Glade from?
if you installed it from the package which seemed to be rpm
and deb, gnome-db may not become valid when the package
maintainer made a package.
if you installed it from tarball, development file of
gnome-db may not be installed successfully.

At all events, you must confirm whether Glade recognizes
gnome-db.
