Multiple datasources to DB Manager don't work....?

Hi,
finally understood that the only way to insert new records is by SQL frontend.
Now I'm wondering how to feed multiple Postgres-Native datasources to the db
manager. WHen i clic on the 'add' button and fill in the new datasource, instead of
adding it to the list it substitues the alreay present one. This way i can only
access one db at a time and everytime i want to change db i have to enter db
manager and fill in the datasource again. Bit complex no?
By the way. The preference dialog on the db manager doesn't work.
