don't worry, I won't hate you for using gnome-db. I would if you didn't
use it, but as you're having problems compiling it, it means you use

yes, you're right, the problem is that the OAF files (oafinfo) are not
referenced in the spec file, so they're being installed in your system
(/usr/share/oaf/gnome-db-components.oafinfo), and not in the RPM. It's
now on CVS. I haven't tested it but it should work, just have to add the
oafinfodir to the list of arguments passed to configure.
