Hi, dudes!
I was told that you may know what's wrong with current mailman on mail.gnome.org.
Ok, here is the problem: Thanks to Evolution, some legal mails in cyrillic
are recognized by Spamassassin as spam and they pended for approval in Mailman.
Perfect, no problem, I can approve them, but... They seems to go back to the
same mailqueue, so SpamAssassin sees them again, and asks for approval again,
and... It's endless story :)
Something should be done, so Approved messages should bypass spam checkes
and go directly to the mailing list.
As for example you may take a look onto pended requests for gnome-cyr gnome org
Now it says:
CHARSET_FARAWAY, CHARSET_FARAWAY_HEADERS, SUBJ_ALL_CAPS, SUBJ_FULL_OF_8BITS
or
BASE64_ENC_TEXT, CHARSET_FARAWAY, CHARSET_FARAWAY_HEADERS, SUBJ_ALL_CAPS,
SUBJ_FULL_OF_8BITS
What you can fix right now is letting cyrillic character sets to go through,
by saying in .spamassassin/user_prefs something like:
ok_languages all
ok_locales en ru
"all" also maybe replaced by "en ru" and whatever other languages are in use
in our mailing lists.
Thanks in advance!
With best regards,
Timur aka BaT
