Summary: the non-ascii chars in "on <date here> <author-name> wrote" prepended when replying to mail get converted to underscores

If the parts of the locilaized phrase "On <date here> <author-name>
wrote" prepended when replying to mail have non-ascii chars, they get
converted to underscores. I guess you forget to convert the string
returned by gettext() from locale's encoding to utf8 encoding - that
produces illegal utf8 sequence that gets converted to ___ then.
Note - same problem with non-ascii chars in From: header (if the
email address of the user running Evo has non-ascii chars, they get
converted to underscores in dropdown list for the From: dropdown list
in the 'compose mail window'. I will file additional bugreport for
this bug with From in headers.
