UI merging problem?

Hi

My container app has a menu defined like this.

-Game
 ->-----
 ->Exit
-Settings
 ->Preferences
-Help
 ->-----
 ->About

This is obviously defined in XML. Now my component adds the menuitem
"New Game"  under the Game menu. But when the control is merged and so is its
 menus, the "New Game" item appears beneath Exit. I want it to appear above
the seperator. How do go about achieving this?
