hi,
Has anyone played with stateless bonobo components yet?
I was thinking of using NON_RETAIN & USE_SERVANT_MANAGER with the
POA to allow me to manage a pool of servants (say 10) and have 20,000
corba objects refering to this object pool. I have yet to see if ORBit
can do this, and how much hacking is needed for the bonobo stuff to get
it to happen... thought I'd atleast ask here first in case someone has
played there before me.
I would have thought that nautilus may do something like this, but an
rgrep for the above terms and also DEFAULT_SERVANT shows nothing. I will
later actually vi the naut code to see what it does for object pooling..
BTW Just out of interest, anyone know of any companies that are making
an OpenSrc transaction server for Bonobo?
