It's easy to install wrapper scripts in /opt/whatever/bin that set
GNOME_PATH properly and then run the real binaries. That doesn't work
for OAF_INFO_PATH, though, since oafd may already be running. I agree
it would be nice to have this facility, but I do not think it is as
critical.
