Hi Rodrigo,
I think it does make sense to do so, especially since `GDA' is a very, very
short name and thus it is highly likely that it is also an acronym for something
else than "GNU Data Access".
However, it might be an idea to have a `GNU' top-level namespace as well for
general, non-GNOME things .....
