I have tried to reproduce this bug but I cannot do so.
I no one can reproduce it either, I will close it soon.

My own tests were using different prefixes for each
non-gnome-1.0 packages and oaf seemed to work fine.
I have done these tests with a fix I commited 1 hour ago
and which corrects oaf brokeness from this WE: I had commited
some bad stuff which completely broke oaf prefix code.
(shame on me)

You can hit me hard in the face or ask maciej or eskil 
to do this for you: they will get rid of me happily.
