bonobo_ui_handler_menu_fetch_by_callback doesn't exist?

There's this useful-sounding routine prototyped in bonobo-ui-handler.h
called bonobo_ui_handler_menu_fetch_by_callback. However, it does not seem
to exist. Will it exist sometime soon? Is there any way I could have
discovered that it doesn't exist other than searching the bonobo sources or
trying to link when I've called it?
