can't build bonobo HEAD with any cvs ORBit

The configure.in for Bonobo HEAD requires ORBit 0.5.6. The configure.in for
ORBit on the orbit-stable-0-5 branch says that it's version 0.5.1 (as does
HEAD for that matter). This means that people like the Nautilus developers
can't compile Bonobo HEAD.

So we need to either:

    1) bump the ORBit version number in the orbit-stable-0-5 branch (I would
do it myself, but I really need Elliot's OK)
    2) change the ORBit version required on the configure.in back to 0.5.1
until ORBit's version number is bumped (Michael will probably want to kill
me for even suggesting this)
    3) back off to an older Bonobo (we've had to do it before, but it's a
problem for us since we regularly submit Bonobo patches that are needed to
continue Nautilus development)

Can someone help? Work on Nautilus is slowing to a standstill as people
update Bonobo (as they do routinely as part of daily builds) and discover
they can't build.

If I don't hear from anyone soon, I will probably make a Bonobo tag for use
in approach (3) above.

(Given the remarks in bonobo/configure.in -- "It appears that as yet Elliot
has not released this version of ORBit." -- perhaps I have just run into the
middle of a disagreement between Elliot and Michael about ORBit releases?)
