Well then you would want that object's GUI implemented with X (unless
you had something that could make Windows GUI calls remotable and
displayable under X. Michael Meeks did point out that there was some
attempt to abstract the windowid, but I don't think this will help
much for Windows because it is not remotable and I don't think it
normally supports one process drawing in another's window.
